DeVaughn Nixon is an American actor who became best known for his role in the romantic movie The Bodyguard. He starred in films like The Bodyguard and Sugar Hill, and then starred in numerous television series among which include: Disney series "Lizzie McGuire and "Mackenzie Falls".

Biography

His father is the former basketball player Norm Nixon. His parents taught him to appreciate education, hard work and independence (his mother was very independent). Already when he was children worked in several roles in acting, putting voice to one of characters of Bébé's Kids movie. Later, he had a role in the romantic film The Bodyguard, together to others roles in others films and TV series. However, he left temporaly his film career, to devote to studies. So, he graduated in television production and business finance in the university. He also had worked together to his father as a mortgage broker. However, he missed acting, by which him decided return to his work in the cinema, participating first in the Disney film Prom. [1]
